Applied Physics Technologies specializes in thermionic and field emission cathodes, refractory materials and custom device systems.  We have facilities for growing single crystals of refractory metals, LaB6/CeB6 and transition metal carbides, as well as mounting and etching methods for cathode manufacturing.  We have capabilities to vapor deposit films for various applications, including low work function coatings and nano-scale electron sources.  We can also provide emission testing and new product development.
