Products > Field Emitters > Refractory Metals

Applied Physics Technologies can provide filament mounted, electrochemically etched, field emitters. The most common refractory metals used would include 0.005-inch diameter molybdenum or tungsten. Common crystallographic orientation used are (100), (111), and (310). Tungsten filaments are used having an 0.005-inch diameter. Either glass or ceramic bases are available.
