Applied Physics Technologies specializes in thermionic and field emission cathodes, refractory
materials and custom device systems. APTech has facilities for
growing single crystals of refractory metals, LaB6/CeBix and transition metal carbides, as well as mounting and etching methods
for cathode manufacturing. Applied Physics Technologies has capabilities to vapor deposit
films for various applications, including low work function coatings
and nano-scale electron sources. APTech can also provide emission
testing and new product development.
