Refractory Metal Field Emitters

Applied Physics Technologies can provide filament mounted, electrochemically etched, field emitters. The most common refractory metals used would include 0.005-inch diameter tungsten or molybdenum. Common crystallographic orientation used are (100), (111), and (310). Tungsten heating filaments 0.005-inch in diameter are generally used on either a glass or ceramic base.

We can also rebuild certain CFE filaments used in other OEMs equipment. For additional details, quotes, or to inquire about other materials, orientations, or mounting methods please Contact Us.
